Sonic the Hedgehog (Santiago Hernández)

Sonic the Hedgehog (born on June, the 23rd 1991), also known by his human identity name, Santiago Hernández is the leader of Team Sonic, a living legend among the heroes, a certified daredevil and a recurring character in the Chargeshock Thompson & the Justice Avengers series created by Man of Action. Appearance Known for his rugged good looks, Sonic is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur covering most of his body, and peach skin that covers his muzzle, insides of his ears and front torso. He is rather slim, with reasonably long arms and legs, along with visible shoulders, giving him a lanky appearance. He has a fairly round head with six thick quills protruding from the back of his head and small, triangular ears on top of his head. He also has cowlick-like spikes that sticks out from his top and lower head quills, two spines protruding from his back behind his shoulders, and a short tail. He also has conjoined green eyes and a fairly long black nose. He also has a visible neck, although it is usually covered by his attire. For attire, Sonic wears a pair of white gloves with cuffs and a pair of red sneakers with white cuffs, gray soles, and a rectangular gold buckle on top. He also has white sports tape wrapped around the palms of his gloves, the heels of his sneakers (to reinforce his shoes) and his lower forearms and legs. Finally, he sports a brown neckerchief. He also occasionally wears his Communicator. In his human form, Sonic is known for being even better looking, being a tall, hispanic (half Argentinian, half Costa Rican descent) young adult with blueish black spiky hair, emerald green eyes, a lean physique and tan skin. His civilian attire, consists of a white shirt under an unzipped blue hoodie, blue sweatpants and red and white sneakers. Finally, he sports a golden jeans chain and a brown neckerchief. Personality Cocky, witty, brave, competitive, free-spirited and always on the move, Sonic has a passion for adventure and is very much a thrill-seeker and adrenaline junkie, always looking for the next thrill, challenge, and triumph. He acts on instinct and lives in the moment, which makes him very impatient and impulsive, and despite his tendencies to run headlong into trouble without a plan, he was also shown to be strategic and also proved to be a natural leader, back when he was with Team Sonic and when he was on that one mission with Chargeshock. Sonic's typical driving force is his immensely large, self-obsessed ego, yet his demeanor is normally laid-back, cool, and carefree. Possessing a snarky tongue and sassy attitude, he is cocky, brash, quick-witted, and often jokes around even in dire situations. He likewise has a playful, albeit never mean-spirited, arrogance about him and likes to play small pranks and while, he was initially shortsighted of others' feelings (making him blunt, honest, and rude to a fault), underneath that boastful and sarcastic exterior, there's a heroic and selfless man, who's loyal to his friends and the people he cares about, and whose heart is nevertheless always in the right place. And when the situation calls for it, Sonic can be serious and will immediately rush to aid those in dire need. Always on the heroic side of things, Sonic is very benevolent with a strong sense of honor, justice, and fair play, being fully committed to helping out those in need at all times. According to Tails, with a friend like Sonic, you don't need an army He also shares similar traits with the Justice Avengers. Like Jake, he is charismatic, flirtatious around the ladies, but never takes advantage of them and prefers to not give them false hope, because he thinks a girl's heart is "not a toy" and because his heart belongs to a certain pink hedgehog girl and is very aware of his fame and legend status, despite being humble about it. Like Michael, he is bold, thrill-seeking and thrives on getting recognised. Like Dennis, he is hispanic, hot-blooded and has a too cool for school attitude, but also has a heart of gold. Like Liam's Hawkman, he is a no-nonsense smartass, but is dedicated when he needs to be and is also very supportive. Like Max, he is a very light-hearted wisecracker. Powers and Abilities An experienced, self-taught, skilled, powerful fighter, and a champion of peace, due to his battles with Dr. Eggman and other universal, threats, Sonic ranks amongst the most powerful heroes and most skilled fighters in the whole universe. Powers Superhuman Speed: Sonic's main trademark and greatest strength is his super speed, which he's most famous for. He has proven himself the most powerful and highly skilled to be in class of his trademark super speed, the most innate talent that the blue hedgehog has ever possesses, Sonic has been nicknamed and credited as the best and well-known as "the fastest thing alive", “the world fastest supersonic hedgehog”, or just simply as “the world’s fastest hedgehog”, and he has proven even as the fastest being in the universe. Sonic had the power and ability to instantly run at super speed, and can accelerate more faster than the speed of sound by moving at supersonic speeds that exceeded in Mach 1, which is at the blistering speed of about 768 mph, and can run backward just as well as he can forwards. Due to such speed, Sonic can scale vertical surfaces and ceilings, run over water, outrun lasers, run through Dr. Eggman’s robots by knocking them out, and even cause the ground to explode and lift off in his wake. Even then, Sonic can take his speed even further; by revving up in one place, he can take off at turbo speeds in an instant, speeding up, and can run at supersonic speeds called Mach Speed. He can also envelop himself in a blue energy field called the Sonic Boost, a powerful supersonic speed projectile that allows him to run and accelerate at full supersonic speeds, allowing him to smash straight through his enemies, destroying them and can also smash against the other obstacles that are in his way, in a beyond the sound barrier on both the ground and in midair for a short time; he can use the other similar variant version of his Sonic Boost which is called the Sonic Boom, that allows him to dash at his enemies at supersonic speed by drawing up wind around him, before using it to launch himself forward with a burst of speed so great that it breaks the sound barrier, and can also use another variant of his Boost, by using his Soul Gauge that allows him to boost with the most destructible speed called the Speed Break which allows him accelerate to such speeds that he creates a sonic boom, while streaks of fire are released in his slipstream. Sonic can also create afterimages of himself as he enters in super-speed/hyper-speed mode allowing him to surpass his regular running super speed as he can run and move faster than the speed of sound. Sonic had the power of his super speed, not only by smashing straight through his enemies or the obstacles like a living projectile, but is able to fly at immense distances through midair at high speed. Using his certain techniques, Sonic can achieve light-speed momentarily at the speed of light such as Light Speed Attack and Light Speed Dash. Sonic can control his trademark super speed as shown; he can easily attack and dodge robots with his incredible speed and his enhanced agility, jump, reflexes, and mobility. Superhuman Agility and Reflexes: Sonic possesses astounding kineticism and precision, and has the reaction time to match his speed. He has profoundly enhanced acrobatic skills and enhanced agility, along with incredible lightning-fast reflexes that lets him avoid any incoming obstacles with precise and delicate movements, and dodges. When launched into the air, he can also pull off several tricks before landing. Sonic also has incredible enhanced jumping skills, capable of jumping up to several hundred meters, even with extra weight. Superhuman Strength: Sonic possesses his enhanced strength. Sonic's signature spinning maneuvers can easily smash through obstacles, and he has demolished a mountain top with chains durable enough to hold the little planet in place. Sonic's arms are very powerful too; He can smash and defeat the hordes of large robots and other powerful enemies with his fist, and can throw a small rock with his supersonic speeds. Superhuman Sense: Sonic's quills can sense nearby dangers, which they warn him about by creating a tingling sensation. A similar precognitive ability of his that allows him to sense nearby danger comes in the form of sneezing. Sonic has also demonstrated the ability to transfer his speed throughout various parts of his body, allowing him to immediately set off from stationary positions and even channel it into objects to speed up their movements and make them pierce through solid objects as he does while running. Highly adept in its usage, Sonic can utilize his several trademark variants of the Spin Attack for both grounded and aerial maneuvers, including Spin Jump, Spin Dash, Homing Attack, Light Speed Attack, the super-charged Focused Homing Attack, and Drop Dash: Sonic can use his Spin Attack to perform Spin Jump; that allows him to jump and perform a mid-air Spin Attack while jumping high and spinning at the same time and can also use it to destroy enemies while jumping in mid-air, Sonic can use his Spin Dash; that allows Sonic to master a revving spin attack by crouching down and curl up to spinning charging ball rapidly from a standard position before blasting off at high speed rolling attack, Sonic can use his Homing Attack; which allows Sonic to perform a Spin Attack in a mid-air and launch his lock-on targets to strike his enemies nearby, Sonic would use his Homing Attack to perform a Light Speed Attack; which allows him to attack within range at the speed of light, making it the most powerful version of his Homing Attack combined, Sonic can also perform a Focused Homing Attack; which is similar to Sonic's original Light Speed Attack technique that allows him to immediately lock-on to multiple enemies to strike them up to six at once, Sonic can also use a new version of his Spin Dash called Drop Dash; that allows him to jump and a perform a rapid spinning ball in a mid-air before landing on a ground and blast off at the incredible high speeds. Abilities Hand-To-Hand Combat Skills/Martial Arts: Even without using his Spin Attack, Sonic is a master and skilled hand-to-hand combatant and martial artist. He mostly relies on his fast footwork since the majority of his power lies in his legs, although he has been known to use his fists and arms too, albeit in a rather straightforward manner. Fighting Style: Sonic’s fighting style is mostly derived from break-dancing attack moves which utilize Sonic's legs to their fullest, allowing him to deliver swift and wide-ranged kicks such as using his similar martial art move called Capoeira. Sonic uses his hand-to-hand combat skills and martial art skills to perform his punching and kicking before unleashing his powerful delivery blows, more several blows, fast-spinning kicks, and final blows at his opponents. He may not be the material of strength, but Sonic makes up for it in speed in combat, which Sonic use to deliver lightning-fast strike attacks in a short time. Sonic has also been known to use flying forward kicks, split kicks, and scissor kicks. Sonic has also learned the martial art of Lin Shao Kung Fu, though he is yet to be seen using it. Sonic is also shown to be able to defeat his enemies, using his full quick hand-to-hand combat and martial art attacks, powerful barrages, and homing attacks. For his more powerful attacks, Sonic uses his Spin Attacks, Spin Dashes, and Homing Attacks. Sonic applies his various martial arts and techniques to attack his opponents. Many of his techniques are based on his Capoeira movements and break-dancing attack movements, in this way Sonic can launch strong and powerful punches and kicks. Many of Sonic's fighting moves are based on hedgehogs' tendency to roll up into a ball for protection; he can use it to attack his many enemies. According to Derrick Thompson, Dr. Connors and Quincy Jackson's analysis, Sonic’s combat skills made him a more experienced and powerful fighter that he can defeat more enemies with his mix of his trademark speed, spin attacks, and combat skills. Indomitable Will: Sonic possesses an indomitable force of his indomitable will, which he has been possessing his unbreakable and incorruptible spirit; in situations where most others would give up and where he is severely outnumbered and outgunned, Sonic never loses faith in himself and never surrenders. This trait enables him to keep on fighting when utterly exhausted or after taking an abnormal amount of damage. His indomitable strong will even let him withstand mind-controlling powers. Trivia This version of Sonic combines the elements of both of the Boom and Mainline version of Sonic. Jake and Michael are his biggest fans. Michael even had a Sonic poster on his wall.
