Michael Dwayne Green (born February, the 13th 1996), also known as Goldspeed is Jake, Max, Liam and Dennis' best friend and one of the main protagonists of Chargeshock Thompson the Justice Avengers series created by Man of Action. He is a student at Xavier high school in New York who started working as a part time superhero after the experiment incident, and also Jake and Liam's childhood friend.
Appearance
Michael is a tall and slim afro-american young man with black hair and brown eyes. He wears a black hoodie and black jeans.
As Goldspeed he wears a color coded yellow outfit.
Personality
As the daredevil of the team, Michael is described as confident, carefree, wild and daring. He carries himself with a lot of charisma and is described as one of the most attractive guys in class and in school, as a lot of girls like him. He also sets a lot of records and is very boastful about his speed and also very competitive, according to the speed records he sets. Which is why he was chosen as the star of the track team.
As the sassiest of the bunch and one of the witty and laid back members of his group and in the Justice Avengers, he is always quick with a joke and loves to trash talk his opponents. He is also shown to love women and sometimes be girl-crazy, which sometimes causes him to flirt with a lot of women, whether they're older or younger than him, but doesn't cross the line when they're taken.
As Goldspeed, he keeps his whole personality intact and often takes selfies on missions and posts them to the Justice Avengers' website. Sometimes he does this when he should be concentrating on the mission. But despite this, he is also quick with his thinking and punches like he is on his feet and was also shown to be a science whiz along side Jake, as he was able to use his knowledge to recognize Jetstorm's high-density polyurethane foam when he used it against Sportsmaster, and analyze a complex chemical combination of the animal DNA mutation formula Dr. Tarantula used. He is also shown to throw jabs at the bad guys, while fighting, which makes him look unprofessional, but in the end, he gets the job done.
Due to his love for adrenaline and need for speed, Michael is more impulsive than Jake and is also really reckless, but he makes up for it with his smarts and maturity and has a lot of heart. According to his mother, Mariah, he is the most responsible and level headed out of his brothers. He is also shown to be the closest to Jake out of the bunch, as they both share a lot of common traits and was also shown to be a grounding force for him, everytime he spiraled or lost his cool in the past. He is also protective of his friends, according to the fact that he defended Jake when he was bullied by JT and Cash in elementary school and when he and Jake defended Liam when he was bullied by Brick Jablonski.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Superhuman speed: Because of the low-key manner in which Michael's accident was created, Goldspeed was exceptionally the fastest of the team, at speeds approaching the speed of sound. He is capable of moving his molecules at high enough frequencies to vibrate through other matter. He turned that into a weapon, where he would cannonball into his opponents. He was fast enough to cross the continental United States, from coast to coast and enough of a deviation to go around the Great Lakes, in four hours.
Accelerated healing: Michael healed faster than the average human.
Superhuman reflexes: Michael's reflexes were enhanced with his speed. He could dodge and react to attacks easily. He could also perform intricate tasks at high speed.
Tornado Generation: Michael could spin to generate tornados– no matter how big or how small they are. He could also help reinforce the larger vortexes and force fields generated by Chargeshock.
Enhanced durability: Goldspeed was very sturdy against punishment. Though his costume had padding, he still took quite a beating when he cannonballed. And although he was sent flying, he could also withstand blows from Firestrike and Electro Monster.
Abilities
Athleticism: Michael seemed to be capable of running at high speed, even without his powers and is also shown to be a very good swimmer.
Master acrobatic: Michael/Goldspeed is an athlete-type able to easily dodge enemy attacks and fight enemies.
Multilingualism: Goldspeed could speak English, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, French and some high school Latin.
Parkour: Before the accident, he can maintain the step of Jake, Max, Dennis and Liam and even surpass them when it's about speed.
Skateboarding: Michael is a proficient skateboarder, as he's the fastest and has a lot of tricks in his sleeve, being second only to Jake.
Trivia
Despite his apparent lack of interest in school and occasional laziness, Michael is good at solving differential equations and Latin.
Michael had Jenny O'Neil crazy over him the time he caught her when she slipped to stop her from falling. He had her thinking his fashion choice is awesome and finds him hot and cool but backtracks whenever Michael gets too smug about it. It's unknown whether he likes her back or not.
Michael once called Purple Tigress "hot" because she reminded him of Ava Ayala, aka the White Tiger.
He considers Jake and Liam his best friends. Though, he's known Jake the longest, ever since childhood.
