The Restoration have allied themselves with Clutch the Opossum and his Clean Sweep company to finally bring stability to Mobius. Meanwhile, Tangle and Whisper join the Restoration in hopes of finding the killer of Whisper's old team: Mimic the Octopus. But the Restoration have their own problems, too! The criminal underworld gets stronger ever since Eggman's death and Starline's disappearance. So, Restoration director Jewel the Beetle forms a group of elite members, called by Tangle "The Diamond Cutters", to find and put an end to the gangster running it all.
