After being bitten by a genetically engineered spider in a scientific demonstration, young nerd Peter Parker gains superpowers. Initially, he intends to use them to make money, adopting the name Spider-Man and performing in exhibition matches. However, when witnessing the murder of his uncle Ben and feeling guilty, Peter decides not to use his powers for his own advantage anymore, but to face evil, having as well as the criminals of New York City, several villains emerging as enemies.

But what none of them expected, were that in addition to causing hallucinogenic effects, the plant also caused mutations in its users and with that, many of the students turned into monsters and started to kill everything that is found alive and now Kenny, Shannon and the new group of survivors will have to face the demons of the past again and stop the infection from spreading to other locations.
