Maksim Lagashkin (born October 12, 1976) is a prominent Russian actor and producer, widely recognized for his exceptional range in both comedic and dramatic roles. A graduate of GITIS (the workshop of Andrey Goncharov), he began his professional career at the Mayakovsky Theatre before making his cinematic debut in Karen Shakhnazarov's Day of the Full Moon. Lagashkin achieved widespread fame and critical acclaim for his portrayal of the local policeman Sergey Maslov in the hit comedy series Beetles (Zhuki), a role that earned him the "Best Supporting Actor" award at the Morning of the Motherland Festival. Beyond acting, he is a significant figure behind the scenes, having co-founded the film company Cinemafor in 2000 with actor Aleksandr Robak.
