Dustin Nguyen is a Vietnamese-American actor, director, and martial artist who rose to international prominence in the late 1980s for his role as Sergeant Harry Truman Ioki on the police procedural series 21 Jump Street. Following this breakthrough, he starred in the action series V.I.P. and received critical recognition for his performance in the 2005 film Little Fish, for which he won the Asian Festival of First Films award for Best Actor. He achieved further acclaim in the Vietnamese film industry, winning the Golden Kite Award (Vietnam's equivalent of the Oscar) for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Floating Lives in 2010. In recent years, he has gained additional recognition for his work as an actor and director on the martial arts crime drama series Warrior.
