Veronica Ngo (Ngo Thanh Van, born February 26, 1979) is a Vietnamese dancer, singer, actress, and model. She is a powerhouse of Vietnamese cinema, widely credited with elevating the country's action genre to the global stage. Often referred to as "the Action Prequel Queen," she first gained international fame for her role in the martial arts epic The Rebel (2007) and later directed and starred in the massive hit Furie (2019), which became Vietnam's highest-grossing film at the time. Her commanding screen presence led to significant roles in major Hollywood franchises, including Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), where she played the heroic Paige Tico, and the Netflix action-fantasy The Old Guard (2020) as the enigmatic Quynh.
