The psychologist Dr. Karla Sans Souci took pleasure in using her patients as pawns to further her own agenda. Karla hypnotized one of her patients into giving her permission to have an alien crystal after learning that he had found one. Karla gained the ability to fly and unleash powerful energy blasts from the bright yellow crystal. Karla, who went by the name Moonshot, started to use her powers to become a villain and fully explore her need for power.
