The estranged son of Harvey Osborn and Pete Ross' best friend, Harry Osborn-Bernard, was unaware that Pete and his father were the Two-Faced Goblin and Spider-Boy. But all changed once Harry was taken hostage by the Two-Faced Goblin and given the Humanity Obliterating Bioweapon, an experimental serum. The serum caused Harry to change into the shape-shifting H.O.B.Goblin. Two-Faced Goblin revealed to him Pete Ross' secret identity as Spider-Boy. He convinced his son that Spider-Boy used him and had never been his friend, that he had poisoned Harry, and that Two-Faced Goblin needed to use the serum to "cure" him. H.O.B.Goblin then vowed to destroy Spider-Boy.
