Superman (2028 Movie)

Thirty years ago on the planet Krypton, leading scientist Jor-El tries to warn the Council about the impending doom of Krypton's destruction, but the members of the Council fear that Jor-El is inciting sedition with his doomsday forecast. Earlier on Jor-El had to deal with General Zod, who along with two other dangerous criminals Ursa and Non were inciting sedition against Krypton's government; they were punished and sentenced to eternal imprisonment in the Phantom Zone. Realizing that his warnings are falling on deaf ears, Jor-El returns home to his wife Lara, saying that now is the time to put their young son Kal-El into the star ship which he intends to launch and send to the planet called Earth. Lara sees the Earth as being primitive and that Kal-El will be a stranger among them, but Jor-El assures her that his son shall never be alone. As they watch the star ship rise into the sky and depart from Krypton, the ground crumbles underneath their feet and everyone else's until both Krypton and its sun explodes.

The Incredibles

Set in a world where "Supers", certain people gifted with superhuman powers and abilities, are commonplace, the film opens up with three superheroes, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone, being interviewed. They talk about the subject of what being a superhero means to them, such as the importance of having a secret identity, the burden of always being vigilant to protect the world from one threat after another, and the importance of superhero individuality.

The Wiz

The film starts out on a snowy evening in New York City. Dorothy, a twenty-four year-old woman, lives with her Aunt Em in her apartment in Harlem. Aunt Em has hosted Thanksgiving at her place and invited several relatives. Despite having many family members Dorothy has no friends, with the exception her pet dog Toto. Aunt Em jokes that Dorothy has never seen any part of the world or as she quotes "south of 125th Street". Although she enjoys her job as a kindergarten teacher and is exposed to children through this, Dorothy has never considered having any of her own as she has made no effort to find a husband. After the relatives depart, Aunt Em has a talk with Dorothy about getting a new job, finding a new place and meeting new people. Afterwards, Toto runs out the door while Dorothy is cleaning up. Dorothy chases after him into the cold streets right in the middle of a snow storm. She eventually catches him but not in time, it's too late. There is a huge blizzard (The work of Glinda the Good Witch Of the South) that sweeps her and Toto away, far away into space until the two cross over in the Land of Oz (which is a parallel universe of New York City).

Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts begins with Sora's Dive to the Heart, which foreshadows the events that will soon take place, but soon progresses to Destiny Islands, where Sora lives with his two best friends, Riku and Kairi. The three friends seek to leave the islands to explore new worlds and have prepared a raft for this purpose. One night, the islands are attacked by darkness and shadow creatures. Sora seeks out his friends, finding Riku first; Riku disappears into darkness, curious about what it contains. Soon after, Sora obtains a mysterious weapon, the Keyblade, to defend himself. Using it to fend off the creatures, he heads for a secret cave, where he finds Kairi near a door. She turns to him, saying his name as the door behind her blows open. The ensuing blast of darkness sends Sora and Kairi both out of the cave. The islands are soon destroyed, and Sora is left adrift, Riku and Kairi's whereabouts unknown.

The sory takes place in the Kingdom of Bohemia, part of the Holy Roman Empire, the Lands of the Bohemian Crown and the modern-day Czech Republic. Focusing on Henry a son of blacksmith.
