Biography

After filing for divorce during her husband's four years in prison, Tess moves from New York and becomes the curator of the Bellagio art gallery. She also begins a relationship with Terry Benedict, resulting in her ex-husband Danny's jealousy of her. Unbeknownst to her, she plays a small role in the casino robbery when they put a cell phone in her coat. After realizing that Danny loves her more than Terry, she goes back to him and hopes she gets out of her second prison sentence (for violating her probation). In Twelve, although Tess seems to accept her husband's never-ending pursuit of potential goals, she still demands that her husband take their lives more seriously. However, she becomes embroiled in the planned robbery at the invitation of Linus, who needs her in the museum heist as she bears a striking resemblance to actress Julia Roberts. After she and Danny meet again, she apologizes to him for forcing her to do something wrong. Tess is played by Julia Roberts and is generally considered to be the twelfth member of Ocean in the second film.
