Biography

Garth is an Atlantean super-hero and member of the Aquaman Family. Born to the lost tribe of the purple-eyed Idylists, he is son of King Thar and Queen Berra. Originally using the alias Aqualad as sidekick to Aquaman, he eventually matured and began using the name Tempest. He has been a member of the Sentinels of Magic and the Teen Titans. Garth was created by Robert Bernstein and Ramona Fradon, first appearing in Adventure Comics #269 (1960).
