Peter Jason Quill, also known as Star-Lord, is a major character of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is the main protagonist of the Guardians of the Galaxy duology, one of the deuteragonists of Avengers: Infinity War, and a major character of Avengers: Endgame. Originally from Earth, he was captured and adopted by the space pirate known as Yondu Udonta, after his mother tragically passed away, on orders of his biological father Ego the living planet. The young human was raised among Yondu's crew calling themselves the "Ravagers". Quill eventually became an expert pilot, gunslinger and thief. After learning of a great threat to the galaxy, Quill becomes the leader of an unlikely group of heroes to defend it and it's people.
