Samsara Leela Yett is an american model and actress, best known for her roles in Don't Look Up (2021), The Flight Attendant (2020) and The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window (2022). She is of South Asian and Eastern European mixed ethnicity; she's of South Indian Tamil and Eastern European Jewish heritage. Born in Valhalla, NY, to an Indian-Tamil mom and U.S.-born-and-bred dad of Eastern European heritage, she is perhaps best known for playing Emma in the Netflix series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window. She played Maya Bowden-Green in the HBO Max series The Flight Attendant. She was in the 2021 film Don't Look Up. She played young Gabriela in the 2022 Hulu comedy film Crush.
Samsara began her career as a child performer at age three via modeling. She started her screen acting career with a role in a 2019 short film titled The Past, Present & Future. She sings, plays guitar, ukulele, piano. She writes and composes original songs, and also studies Bharatanatyam. She also writes stories, poetry, recipes, nonfiction, and screenplays. She has modeled for Delta, Target, St. Regis Hotels, J. Crew, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap and LoveShackFancy.
