Rebecca Hawkins is a fictional character first introduced in the anime of Yu-Gi-Oh! near the end of the Duelist Kingdom arc. She is the paternal granddaughter of Prof. Arthur Hawkins, an archaeologist who theorized that the modern game of Duel Monsters was created and played by the ancient Egyptians millennia ago.
Rebecca comes off as a bratty and rude little girl who first meets Yugi Moto, his friends and grandfather after the former's return from Duelist Kingdom after winning the tournament against Maximillion Pegasus.
She outright accuses Yugi's grandfather, Solomon of "stealing" her own grandfather's rare Blue-Eyes White Dragon card from him and demands that he give back to her. Yugi, his friends, and grandfather protest against her accusations, the latter saying he never stole it at all, but was given to him by her grandfather as a sign of their friendship, something that she refuses to believe and accuses him of lying.
Rebecca duels Yugi in a game of Duel Monsters, taunting him with rudeness and disrespect along with still accusing Solomon of being a liar throughout the game. When Yugi surrenders the game, Solomon is forced to show her the Blue-Eyes card is torn, which she again accuses him of ruining and still refuses to listen to him about, until her grandfather walks in on them, scolding her for her bad behavior and explained Yugi's strategy of surrender at the end of the game and finally learning the truth.
