Mahi Alam is a Bengali-American actor, and singer/songwriter. He was born in Tangail, Bangladesh to a Bengali mother and father. At the age of 6, Mahi Alam came to America with his family in order to pursue the arts. His most notable roles are, as Anuj in the Disney Plus series "American Born Chinese", Yakub in the NBC series "New Amsterdam", and Samir in the Facebook Web Series "Strangers." Mahi is majoring in Music Technology at the school of Steinhardt in New York University.
