Liza Yankovskaya (Yelizaveta Filippovna Yankovskaya) was born on May 1, 1995, in Moscow, Russia.
She is a highly regarded Russian theater and film actress and a member of the prominent Yankovsky acting dynasty. She is the daughter of actor and director Filipp Yankovsky and actress Oksana Fandera, the sister of actor Ivan Yankovsky, and the granddaughter of the legendary Oleg Yankovsky. After studying at the Moscow Art Theatre School and graduating from the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in 2017, she made a significant film debut in The Story of a Appointment (2018). She earned international acclaim for her lead role in the biographical drama Nika (2022), which won her an award at the SXSW Film Festival.
