Ko Mi Nyeo, played by Park Shin-hye in “You’re Beautiful,” is a kind-hearted girl who dreams of becoming a nun. She and her twin brother, Ko Mi Nam, grew up in an orphanage after their father’s death. When Mi Nam has to leave for the United States to fix a botched plastic surgery, Mi Nyeo is persuaded to impersonate him and join the boy band A.N.JELL in his place.
As Mi Nam, Mi Nyeo navigates the challenges of maintaining her disguise while interacting with the band members—Hwang Tae-kyung, Kang Shin-woo, and Jeremy. Each band member forms a unique bond with her, adding complexity to the story. The drama features a love triangle (or rather, a love square) as Tae-kyung, Shin-woo, and Jeremy develop feelings for Mi Nyeo, unaware of her true identity.
