Joci Scott is an actress, singer and dancer based in Los Angeles, known for her role as Ariel in the short film "Smash or Pass" made for the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge. She became a paraplegic at 20 years old by sustaining a T12 spinal cord injury after her family survived a small plane crash. She now uses a wheelchair full-time. Joci has been a Rollettes Los Angeles dance team member since 2021, empowering women with disabilities through dance and community. Joci recently married her high school sweetheart in their hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, and in her free time, enjoys reading, spending time outside, and snuggling with her cat Luna. Joci is very passionate about bringing dynamic stories to the screen about life with a disability, and advocates for disability representation on her social media.
