Joanne Tseng (born November 17, 1988) is a Taiwanese actress, singer, and television host who graduated from the National Taiwan University of Arts with a degree in Drama and Theater. At age 14, she entered the entertainment industry by forming the Mandopop duo Sweety, which released three studio albums before she pivoted to a solo career in 2007. She gained early recognition in television through leading roles in series such as The Magicians of Love (2006) and Mean Girl Ah Chu (2007). In 2015, her performance in Marry Me, or Not? led to a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 51st Golden Bell Awards, marking her arrival as a critically recognized dramatic talent. She subsequently starred in the high-rated series Refresh Man (2016) and Attention, Love! (2017), while also returning to music with the release of her debut solo EP Light Up in 2017.
