Jasper is the leader of the Astronomers, identifiable by his red eyes. His room is Apartment 26. He can be found in the reception area of the Main Lobby. Along with the others, he wishes to conduct a ritual on the apartment roof, offering up four depictions of the Visitor in the hopes that it will recognize their desire to communicate. His purview is the collection of materials. The player can turn in offerings for the Visitor by speaking with him. After four have been found, the Astronomers will invite Sam to come to the roof of the building for the ritual, where the game's ending will take place, depending on which items were given as offerings. Jasper's vision was a dream of a madman, who wrote a testimony of what he had seen above as his final lucid words. His offering is the Manuscript written by the writer in the Writer's Apartment. One of the two other manuscripts, from before and after he lost his mind, may be offered to Jasper instead, with dire consequences.
