When Ka-Zar went in search of missing women and men from a local village, he found Iranda, Queen of the Lizard-Men. She took him to her castle where he saw one of the missing women. When he tried to rescue her, the Lizard Men attacked him. He was able to escape and took Iranda's crown with him. With her crown gone, at moonrise her enchantment wore off and she became a Lizard being. After she died, her enchantments faded and the Lizard Men turned back into the missing warriors from the village.[1]
