Crescent is Summer's dog, a white dog with brown eyes that is almost a year old. The McKinnys adopted him from Four Paws Animal Shelter; he was named Crescent because he looks like one when he curls up. He's learned basic commands, but doesn't initially respond regularly to "stay" or "drop it." He also initially doesn't get along with cats and bickers with Fettuccine, which Summer overlooks as her bias to thinking that dogs are better than cats.
