Clutch the Opossum is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. An elderly criminal ringleader, he eventually retired and became an expert Chao trainer and the reigning champion of the White Park Chao Racing Circuit. After his mistreatment of his Chao was revealed however, Clutch was forced to flee White Park Zone. Having lost much of his wealth following this incident, he is currently working on rebuilding his criminal empire with the aid of Rough and Tumble.
