First appeared in Science Comics #1 in 1940 and was created by Lester Raye. Bill Powers was a scientist who discovered an anti-gravitation fluid that allowed him to fly like a bird when he spread it on the wings of his suit. Originally published by Fox Features Syndicate, he later appeared in comics published by AC Comics, Image Comics, and Dynamite Entertainment.
