Belasco is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Bruce Jones and artist Brent Anderson, the character first appeared in Ka-Zar the Savage #11 (February 1982).[1] Belasco is a demonic lord of Limbo.[2] He is the former ruler of the Hell dimension.[3] He is responsible for luring into the same hellish realm the superhero Illyana Rasputin / Magik.[4]
