Biography

"Anxiety" is a song by American rapper Doechii, which was originally self-released to YouTube on November 10, 2019. The song was re-recorded in 2025 following it gaining traction on social media platforms, being released to streaming platforms on March 4, 2025, through Top Dawg Entertainment and Capitol Records. It serves as an double A-side with Denial Is a River. The song prominently samples the 2011 song "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye featuring Kimbra. "Anxiety" is Doechii's best performing single so far,[citation needed] reaching number one in Australia, Greece, Latvia, New Zealand and Switzerland, while entering the top ten of the charts in various countries, including Austria, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, France, Norway, the United Kingdom, and the United States, becoming her first ever top ten in all these countries. Following its release, it was added as a bonus track on Doechii's mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal (2024). A music video was released in April 2025.
