Biography

Amaya is the younger sister of Queen Sarai, the sister-in-law of King Harrow, as well as the maternal aunt of Callum and Ezran. She is also the wife of Queen Janai of the Sunfire Elves.[2] She is the general and the leader of the Standing Battalion, one of Katolis's most powerful armies, who kept vigilant guard at the Border.[3] However, since the war between Xadia and the Human Kingdoms came to an end following the birth of Azymondias, Amaya and her soldiers have been stationed in Xadia, helping the Sunfire Elves to rebuild after the fall of Lux Aurea.[4] She is Deaf and communicates through sign language.[5] Her close friend and trusted lieutenant Gren is her primary sign language interpreter.
