Amanda Harris is a character from the American gothic soap opera Dark Shadows (1966-1971). She was, ostensibly, from New York, though it was later revealed that she was actually a portrait created by Charles Delaware Tate come to life. After meeting Quentin Collins in 1897, the two fell in love - although Quentin insisted they could not be together, she always sought him out after their parting. She later became a famous actress, operating under the name Olivia Corey.
