Quentin Collins is a character from the American gothic soap opera Dark Shadows (1966-1971). The ne'er-do-well youngest of the Collins siblings in the 1890s, he was a lecherous, hedonistic cad that nevertheless had a deep soft spot for his family. After strange, unfortunate events started occurring following the death of his grandmother Edith, Quentin quickly became embroiled at the center of them, his womanizing ways also catching up with him, and he became the target for several supernatural events. Unbeknownst to him, Barnabas Collins had time-traveled back from the 1960s in order to prevent his death, as his angry spirit was haunting Collinwood in 1969, taking over the house and possessing young David Collins (bringing him extremely close to the point of death). In preventing that death, the truth of what happened to Quentin was revealed: he had been cursed by Magda Rakosi to become a werewolf, as revenge for his mistreatment and killing of her sister, Jenny, whom he was married to.
