Under M.O.D.O.K.'s control, A.I.M. has made some advanced weapons and technologies with some Stark's tech they stole from him. They created Wonder Man, a being of pure ionic energy from Simon Williams during a fight between the two Avengers and M.O.D.O.K
They were hired by HYDRA to create the Cosmic Cube, an artifact that grants the person's wishes and desires to come true. HYDRA's wish is to rule the world if they won the World War II. But when A.I.M. accomplishes their tasks, M.O.D.O.K. decides to use it to fulfill his own desires. His actions cause a war between HYDRA and A.I.M. but were stopped by the intervention by the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. After the fight, both HYDRA and A.I.M. soldiers and their leaders were recaptured and taken to the Negative Zone. The fate of their organization is unknown
Later after M.O.D.O.K. was captured, Scientist Supreme took the leadership and invaded Stark Industries to get revenge on Iron Man with the help of Technovore. They were soon defeated by Iron Man with an improved new suit, Captain America, Black Panther and War Machine
