After being abandoned by his birth parents Cole Hunter was adopted by David and Susan Thomas who opted not to give him their last name. Throughout his childhood he was neglected and pushed to the side after the family had their own children. Eventually Cole was chosen by the Elden Portal Seed to save the multiverse which led him to getting trapped in another universe where he and his friends worked with the people of that universe to stop the Spirit from taking the universe's energy and corrupting everything.
