Sandy is Evelyn’s best friend and works at the supermarket that Evelyn does her shopping at. She is a divorced woman who has a two year old son named Nathan, and is a feisty yet friendly young woman. Near Evelyn’s age, she has been close to Evelyn and Max for a very long time. Sandy dies a few times in other universes that Max and Harvey speculate on, as in some instances, she is with Evelyn when the scene happens. In the main universe, she learns of her best friend’s fate, and tries to help the other save her. When all unfolds in the end, she comforts Max and promises she will always be there for him with Nathan if he ever needs.
