Bri's 22-year-old brother and Jay’s son. Trey also attended Midtown and was a highly involved student who was also extremely smart. He got into a good college and earned a degree in psychology, but because of the economy and his sense of responsibility to Bri and Jay, Trey returned to Garden Heights to help make ends meet. According to Bri, Trey is doing everything right but still can’t get out of Garden Heights—something that's extremely disheartening for both of them. He and Bri have always been close. Because he's so much older and has been the only constant in Bri's life, Trey has been a major mentor figure to her.
