Aisha Gray is one of the newest island residents, as well as her newly-widowed mother, Monica. She's one of the few black people on the island, which is why she doesn't like the idea of only dating the other black guy around because there's no other options. She's pragmatic and reasonable most of the time, except for when the hormones get going. Her mom runs a B&B. When Aisha discovers her mother's affair with Zoey and Ben's dad, she is furious, and decides to move in with Claire and Nina's family for a bit. Her and Christopher have a small thing going on, but she doesn't wanna be tied down, as she wants to be a good student in order to get away from Chatham.
