Synopsis

Focused on the lives of teenagers living on Chatham Island, a fictional island off the coast of Maine. The main characters early in the series are Zoey Passmore and her brother Benjamin, Claire Geiger and her sister Nina, Jake McRoyan, Lucas Cabral, and Aisha Gray.

Description of Zoey Passmore (Season 1-8):

Zoey Passmore, a kind and relatively innocent 17-year-old freshman who loves to write. Zoey has been dating Jake for two years at the start of the show, and while she likes him, she's not super into him and ...well, might be looking for something or someone else entirely. She finds herself VERY attracted to Lucas when he returns, which freaks her and everyone else out. She's best friends with Claire. Zoey's family runs the local seafood restaurant, Passmore's. Zoey is also the first to discover that her father is having an affair with Aisha's mom.
