Spinal is a 2000 year old warrior who was killed in battle by the enemy army. His real name is Jolly John and he was resurrected by Ultratech now in the form of a walking skeleton with some remnants of his old body left over through technology. Not understanding what is going on, the Undead Warrior is forced to obey Ultratech's orders to fight in the tournament despite their reluctance and to have more control over it, the company has deployed a mind control device that further forces Spinal to face and even killing his opponents during the tournament while suffering from Flashbacks from his past that he himself has no memories of and tries to keep in control of his sanity.
