Thorn is an alter used by two women in the DC Universe, both with dissociative identity disorder. The first, Rose Canton, was a villain of the Flash and Green Lantern. She had a relationship with the original Green Lantern, Alan Scott, and was the mother of his children, superheroes Jade and Obsidian. In later continuities, the mild Rose Forrest and her alter Thorn operate in Metropolis and frequently clash with Superman or work as a vigilante taking down the 100 gang
