Fan Casting Gwilym Sachs in Forbade

Gwilym was born during the 18th century, and turned into a vampire sometime during the 19th century. He is of German descent, but found himself in Italy and Spain for much of 20th century. Having witnessed all of his loved ones pass as he was frozen in time, Gwilym grew to forbid himself from any connections with humans, out of fear or hurting them of himself. He formed a close relationship with Romain, a Spanish vampire he met in the 20th century, and the two eventually became lovers- the first relationship Gwilym allowed himself to have in years. Several years later, he is convinced by his lover to indulge in temptation with a younger, modern couple.
