Will Magnus invented Sinistron with the goal of making it the best Sentinel possible. Will Magnus' hatred for his brother Magneto was programmed into Sinistron's artificial mind along with the sentience seeds that gave Sinistron the ability to defy his programming and rebel against his creator. Sensing the risk of disaster that mutants had, Sinistron started to round up mutants and bring them back to his castle on Genosha, where he would use mind control to make them into an army to conquer the world.
