Holocaust and Blight combined to form Derek Nemesis, CEO of Alchemax, who was a cruel person. The Hyenaz gang was hired by Derek to kill Warren McGinnis before he could address the media when he discovered this plan while delivering fatal bioweapons to communist nations. In order to exact revenge on her father, Laura became Dark Claw Beyond. She pursued Derek's wealth to the Hyenas after defeating them. Derek was attacked by Dark Claw Beyond using a bioweapon that included toxins. Derek would have passed away if Ra's A-hidden Pocalypse's child hadn't been born. He became a living radioactive skeleton as a result of his hidden metamutant powers eating the poisons in his decaying flesh.
