A superhuman soldier named Kathy Silverfox was an effort to be made by the Weapon X Project. Knowing they were going to make her into a mindless metamutant killer, she managed to escape Weapon X. The Fox Bat, a mashup of Silver Fox and Batwoman, became her alter ego. Fox Bat made the decision to murder Dark Claw after understanding that Weapon X had created him to stop him from being sent after her. Fox Bat found that Dark Claw was not a cold-blooded killer. He had a strong sense of morals and honor, and he fought bravely. Fox Bat and Dark Claw later fell in love as a result of their partnership.
