In order to change into the insect-sized hero known as the Blue Jacket, Hank Pym invented the flight suit, stinger blasters, and size-altering subatomic particles. Blue Jacket is a hybrid of the Yellowjacket and the Blue Beetle. When he started to show the aggressive characteristics of his alternate personality, Ted Kord, he realized that the particles were negatively affecting his way of thinking. Hank stopped acting heroically when his Ted Kord character started hurting other people. Later, Hank realized that his true calling was as a scientist with Project Cadmus.
