Following the events of Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne and Bruce Wayne: The Road Home, Bruce finally confronted the one major truth about himself: that despite all of his lone work and brooding personality, he was never alone. Superman Family
Due to the reality-changing events of Flashpoint, the members of the Super-Family had their memories altered and their history re-written so that they forgot about their bonds. Although Superman, Supergirl, Superboy and other team members have worked together since, their relationship became more strained and distant for a while until it was restored: Superman and Supergirl patched things up after her Red Lantern stint, and Supergirl defended Superboy from her own teammates, apologising for mistreating him in the past. In Superman: The Final Days of Superman, Prime-Earth Superman faced his own mortality and saw that Supergirl was ready to replace him. After the events of "Superman: Reborn", Superman was made aware that reality had been tampered with by someone massively powerful and he needed the whole Super-Family to fight him, so he visited each member - Supergirl, Steel, Super-Man, and Superwoman and asked them to fight at his side when the time comes. In Superman: Revenge the Super-Family had their first test when a new Superman Revenge Squad was put together by Cyborg Superman to destroy Superman once and for all.

The Rogues
The second Flash had a wide array of colorful villains who frequently matched wits with the Scarlet Speedster individually. However, it wasn't until Captain Cold and Trickster escaped prison on the same day to commit the same crime, the robbery of a charity function sponsored by the Picture News, that any of them ever worked together. Although they initially had no intention of combining forces, they found that they made a good team, especially since they were facing not only one, but two Flashes, as Jay Garrick had briefly come out of retirement. Although the two were able to elude capture initially, they were eventually lured into a trap by the two speedsters, playing on their desire for wealth.[1] Thus began a series of frequent partnerships among the Flash's foes, who would come to be known as the Rogues Gallery. Barry Allen has even admitted that the Rogues are formidable.[2] Wally West has also confirmed that the Rogues are organized and not idiotic, revealing that Batman Villains work on a different cerebral level than them.[3] Throughout their battles with the Flash over the years, they always improved, thus becoming smarter, more clever and better villains.[4]

The group is founded on a spur of the moment impulse by Enchantress, Ragman and Detective Chimp to get rid of the Spectre because of his decision to destroy all magic in the universe. They are joined by Blue Devil, Nightshade, and Nightmaster, the latter christening the group the "Shadowpact". In their fight with the Spectre, the group is aided by others: the Phantom Stranger, who advised Detective Chimp even though he had been transformed into a rodent; Captain Marvel; the wizard Shazam; and Black Alice. At the end of the limited series though, only the six core members remain with the team. The Phantom Stranger, returning to human form, continues to advise the group. Captain Marvel is defeated by the Spectre as he tries to defend the Rock of Eternity. The wizard Shazam is also defeated by the Spectre. Immortal Man lead the team and, with the help of Superman, managed to destroy the pyramids and save the world. The team later reformed to battle the Forgotten Villains.

Justice Society of America
Like much of the Golden Age of Heroes, the creation of the Justice Society was initially spurred on following the arrival of Wonder Woman in Man's World. In saving sitting president Franklin Deleanor Roosevelt's life at the 1939 World's Fair, she inspired others to come forward and use their powers for good, including Alan Scott, who would become known as the Green Lantern.[1] Despite this, Wonder Woman was not a member of the team's initial lineup; when the team held their first official meeting on November 22nd, 1940, she was not among the group, which consisted of Sandman, the Spectre, Al Pratt, the Flash, Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Hourman, and Green Lantern. During this initial meeting, after introductions and photographs, the team somewhat goaded Doctor Fate into using into using the power granted to him by the Helm of Fate to perform what he considered to be a parlor trick- telling them how many children they were each going to have. He first revealed to the Atom that he'd have at least one child with his crush, Mary, much to the group's amusement. Alan Scott rejected the offer, not wanting to know too much about the future of his own personal life. When Fate attempted to perform this trick on Jay Garrick, he instead had a vision of Per Degaton and the league's many eventual sidekicks and children, lost. Afterwards, they quickly helped Fate remove his helmet to prevent him from being overwhelmed by this vision
