The First Season of What If...? premiered on August 11, 2021 on Disney+. What if instead of Steve Rogers, Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) actually became the first Super Soldier? That creative brainstorming exercise is the heart of What If...?, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first animated series. The anthology reimagines numerous major events from the movies in game-changing ways, and also features Chadwick Boseman, who was able to reprise T'Challa via voice work before his death. Everything plays out the same except the characters that have been recast will be voiced by their live action actors.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a 2008 animated feature film directed by Dave Filoni and executive produced by George Lucas. The plot focuses on a struggle between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems—each vying for Jabba the Hutt's permission to use Hutt Space's trade routes. In an attempt to gain Jabba's favor, Sith Lord and Separatist leader Count Dooku kidnaps Jabba's son Rotta, in hopes of framing the Republic's Jedi Order as the true captors. Some minor changes are the character's voice actors, some will be voiced by their live-action actors because I think the sound better than the original cut.

Chadwick Boseman was my favourite black actor, it was very devastating when he passed away from colon cancer on August 28, 2020 as he was famous for the role of King T'Challa/Black Panther. I feel that Chadwick would not want T'Challa to die with him, which is why I think T'Challa should be recast. A number one way to kill a legend is to stop telling their story. Recasting T'Challa is not a call to imediately recast the character but to continue the portrayal of the character and not have him killed off permenantly in the MCU.
