Now Crash has to make his way back to save her with help from Coco and the Entity known as Aku Aku.

Meanwhile, a loser student named Rich Rathburn is dealing with mockery from most students and just life as a whole not being in his favor. He soon flees his home, where he bumps into Sonic, where the two don’t quite get along right away, but slowly form more of a bond. In the meantime, Robotnik discovers the floating island known as Angel Island, where he manipulates the echidna residents to help him, convincing them that Sonic is coming to steal their treasure, The Chaos Emerald. Soon Sonic meets new allies Amy Rose and the Chaotix. Now Sonic must stop Robotnik.

The only problem is that the people who discovered the Vault were completely wiped out by some sort of protective force, with the only evidence of their discovery being a scattered radio transmission, proclaiming the Vault's majesty, but not its location.

While on the run, Taz has come across five animal rights activists who have been trying to bring down McLeach for years. Now they have to fight a war of wits, traps, and absolute destruction.

Luckily for him, he's the newest employee at Gar's Bodega, the go-to spot for hero supplies and a bonding place for K.O. and his co-workers/best friends, human Enid and alien Radicles. While Radicles, or Rad, is known as a bit of a slacker, Enid has a reputation as a level-headed big sister-type, although lacks a motivation to actually help people.
