2026 Reynaud Awards

The Reynaud Awards are awards for artists and projects in the animation industry. This award ceremony is named after the French inventor, Charles-Émile Reynaud, who directed the first animated feature back in 1888. This is the second year of the Reynaud Awards. What an exciting year this will be. Please note that all nominations must be either a feature-length film, a short, or a TV series. A theatrical release is not required. Commercials do not qualify. All nominations MUST BE ANIMATED, no live action or imitation live-action (eg, Mufasa: The Lion King). Unless otherwise stated, all nominations MUST have been made in the year 2025. I do not want to see live-action nominations anymore. Next year's awards will start in January 2027.

Godzilla vs Kong

As their mission of discovery soon becomes one of survival, they must fight to escape from a primal world where humanity does not belong.

Godzilla

In 1954, the US military tested a hydrogen bomb on Bikini Atoll. However, things go very wrong when a giant reptilian creature, known as Godzilla, awakens. Many years later, in 2014, Ford Brody, a Navy bomb expert, reunites with his family in San Francisco when he is forced to go to Japan to help his estranged father, Joe. Soon, both men are swept up in an escalating crisis as Godzilla emerges from the sea to fight malevolent enemies that threaten humanity's survival. The creatures leave huge destruction in their wake as they march toward their final battleground: San Francisco.
