The Dark Tower

Roland Deschain and his ka-tet have journeyed together and apart, scattered far and wide across multilayered worlds of wheres and whens. Wolves of the Calla

Roland and his tet have just returned to the path of the Beam when they discover that they are being followed by a group of inexperienced trackers. The trackers are from the town of Calla Bryn Sturgis, and they desperately need the help of gunslingers. Once every generation, a band of masked riders known as the Wolves gallop out of the dark land of Thunderclap to steal one half of all the twins born in the Callas. When the children are returned, they are roont, or mentally and physically ruined. In less than a month, the Wolves will raid again. In exchange for Roland’s aid, Father Callahan, a priest originally from our world, offers to give Roland a powerful but evil seeing sphere, a sinister globe called Black Thirteen which he has hidden below the floorboards of his church. Not only must Roland and his tet discover a way to defeat the invincible Wolves, but they must also return to New York so that they can save our world’s incarnation of the Dark Tower from the machinations of the evil Sombra Corporation.

Wizard and Glass

Part IV of an epic quest. Roland the Gunslinger and his followers have to contend with a sentient monorail intent on killing itself and taking them with it. While seeking to return to the Path of the Beam that will lead them to the Dark Tower, Roland tells his friends a story about the tragic loss of his first love, Susan Delgado.

The Waste Lands

The Waste Lands refers to the barren countryside Roland and his ka-tet traverse on their quest toward the Tower in this volume. It also references T.S. Eliot's epic poem The Waste Land, which is a retelling of the legend of King Arthur, the ancestor of all gunslingers and the inspiration for Roland's quest.

The Drawing of the Three

Following Roland Deschain's confrontation with the man in black, the gunslinger descends from the Cyclopean Mountains to the Western Sea, where he is attacked by lobstrosities from the ocean. As his health wanes, he must travel the shoreline in search of three doors that will allow him access to Keystone Earth, from where he encounters people, including the drug-addict Eddie Dean, the schizophrenic Susannah Holmes, and the psychopathic Jack Mort, who are tied to his journey to the Dark Tower.

Mystery Inc.

The year is 1968, and it's Halloween season. When sightings of a mysterious being known as the Freak of Crystal Cove appear, a group of meddling kids decide to work together to solve this mystery.

Batman: Almost Got 'Im

The Joker, Killer Croc, the Penguin, Two-Face, and Poison Ivy meet at a poker table with tales of occasions when they almost defeated Batman.

The Addams Family (2021)

What if the 1991 Addams Family movie was made today? When a man claiming to be Fester, the missing brother of Gomez Addams, arrives at the Addams' home, the family is thrilled. However, Morticia begins to suspect the man is a fraud, since he cannot recall details of Fester's life. With the help of lawyer Tully Alford, Fester manages to get the Addams clan evicted from their home. Gomez realizes the two men are conspiring to swindle the Addams fortune and that he must challenge Fester.

The Gunslinger

It tells the story of the gunslinger, Roland of Gilead, and his quest to catch the man in black, the first of many steps towards his ultimate destination: the Dark Tower.

Tim Burton's Batman Begins (1995)

What if Tim Burton had made Batman Begins 10 years before Nolan, and made it a prequel to his Batman movie? A young Bruce Wayne travels to the Far East, where he's trained in the martial arts by Henri Ducard, a member of the mysterious League of Shadows. When Ducard reveals the League's true purpose, the complete destruction of Gotham City, Wayne returns to Gotham intent on cleaning up the city without resorting to murder. With the help of Alfred, his loyal butler, and Lucius Fox, a tech expert at Wayne Enterprises, Batman is born.
