He says he’ll make Johnny's father well again if he gets his soul in return, Johnny agrees, and his father is suddenly cured. However he’s killed in a tragic motorcycle accident the next day, Johnny now decades later, lives with the guilt. But Mephisto returns to enact the clause in Johnny’s soul binding, he turns Johnny into the Ghost Rider, with a flaming motorcycle and steel chain. His mission is to kill Mephisto’s son who’s turned against him, Blackheart. Johnny with no other choice has to oblige.
