Batman: The Man Who Laughs

All of the news networks in Gotham have suddenly been taken over by a pirate broadcast, announcing that at midnight that very night, millionaire industrialist Henry Claridge, will die. Forced on the case by Commissioner Grogan, newly-made Captain James Gordon secretly works with Gotham's caped crusader to stop the madman who plans to perpetrate a sinister scheme that could threaten the entire city. Based on Batman: The Man Who Laughs by Ed Brubaker and Doug Mahnke. The second installment of a Batman saga primarily based on Grant Morrison's Batman run.

Rita Hayworth And The Shawshank Redemption

Based on the novella written by Stephen King. The first episode covers the first part of the film, from Andy’s prosecution, imprisonment at Shawshank, befriending of Red, the beginning of his tax work and money-laundering for the prison, Brooks’s parole, and up to just after his suicide. The second episode covers the second half, with the arrival of Tommy, the construction of the library, Tommy’s murder, Andy’s escape, Red’s parole and his fleeing across the Mexican border.
